Thanks to Don for all the years he put in on Bayrc.com and to Joey for keeping it going.

Biocow checking in with my story.

Started flying in about October 2012 with Lefty as my instructor. He got me started and was a GREAT teacher. But driving to Redwood City every weekend was just too much. Move to Baylands and met everyone there who are all great. Too many to name. Been too long since I've been out though. (6 weeks now???) Just been busy. I'll be out again soon.

Hello folks! I decided to change my username from the old site to this new one, but most of you that go to Baylands will know me as Warren and I've been flying there for almost 2 years.

It's good to see that this new site is picking up momentum and getting more and more activity. I can't wait to see what new changes will occur in the following months. B)

Hi All! My name is Mark aka MK500 because I like to go fast :-)

I've been a big aviation fan my whole life and did a lot of flying (Cessnas) in my youth with my father. I always wanted to fly RC but was intimidated by gas engines, finding a club, getting "training", following the rules, etc...

I started flying multi-roters about 2 months ago; and am totally addicted to Electric RC Models now. So far my collection includes a Nano QX, 180 QX (no camera), 200 QX with CF kit on the way, and my first plane....a Parkzone UM Icon A5. I'm currently building an AXN Floater-jet "kinda glider" as well. I control it all with a FrSky Taranis with Orange module; and am practicing with Aerofly RC 7 in hopes of one day being able to turn both directions while facing the aircraft either way ;-)

Here is an embarrassing video of my first attempt to fly fixed wing (luckily cut off by thunder before I could do any damage):

I haven't found a place to fly here in the Bay Area yet...other than my SF yard (which is sub-optimal). So am looking for good suggestions on parks and other safe areas to enjoy my new hobby. Especially those with water for Icon A5 flying. Thanks for this site!

Hello Everyone!

So glad to see BayRC up and going again!

My name's Bob (hence the username). I've been flying RC planes on and off for about 6 years. I picked up flying edfs 4 years ago and now I'm NUTS about them! The need for speed has never been greater! I recently bought an Eflite UMX Sbach so I'm slowly getting into 3D as well.

I like to fly my jets at Bayfront park usually once a week in the mornings. I fly my little sbach there too as well as school fields.
