I just tried to order some batteries from HobbyKing. I was told that the two credit cards I used were not "3D" enabled and therefore were rejected. I called my bank and was told that the merchant did not submit a transaction and that credit cards could not 3D enabled. 3D is just an extra layer of internet security. I contacted HobbyKing and was told I could use PayPal and I needed to contact my bank.

Has anyone bought anything from HobbyKing recently on a card?

I tried to order a lipo battery this morning from them but became frustrated on User name and password reset. I then went on e-bay and found the same battery cheaper and guess what? It was Hobbyking selling through E-bay...It pays to shop around...Jack

When I went to pay via PayPal this AM I found that the price had magically gone down by $4 from $40 to $36.

Weird, never heard of a "3d" security.
